| Customer FAQ's |
Q. Why is my stock item posting to the wrong disbursement code after changing a stock group?
A. In the stock maintenance the first two characters of a stock group is the department. In department maintenance, the sales group is used in the disbursement to decide where it is to post in the GL. If you change the items stock group this could affect where it posts in the GL. Disbursements are made up of an Ironbark defined code, then sales group from the department and lastly the location where the sales is made.
